It’s dedicated to all the frontline heroes who are keeping us safe.

Estos días hay que barrer a casa, hay que recogerse entre nuestras cuatro paredes, guardarnos besos y abrazos para cuando este sueño termine, aplaudir desde las terrazas, pensar en los nuestros… y cuidarnos los unos a los otros. Barrer a casa es un single compuesto, grabado y producido íntegramente por Sofía y Álvaro, en casa, en estos días de confinamiento.

Het begon met een klein idee van 3FM-dj Sander Hoogendoorn. Om alle radiostations in Nederland samen te brengen tijdens de coronacrisis. Op hetzelfde tijdstip ‚You’ll Never Walk Alone‘ draaien. Echter liep het zo uit de hand dat er 183 radiostations hebben meegedaan. En zo zag dat er vanochtend uit!

COVID-19 has got the world on lockdown, quarantined. Coronavirus seems to have affected us all. In these moments, I turn to music. To the simple, timeless power of song. London has a lot of public pianos. Since the coronavirus hit, and COVID lockdown happened, they’ve been locked shut, closed indefinitely. And the streets have become that much more quiet. Nervous stares, heads down, masks on our faces. Luckily I found out that had been forgotten. I dedicate this song to the world.
